the artist
And maker for many years, I create all sorts of things. A lot of my work is inspired by years of travel and my love for the natural world. I work with textiles creating dolls and other creatures, but also clothes with decorations, embroidery and prints. I use string and natural and/or recycled materials to make macramé hangings and jewellery. Things I make are made to last and it is important to me to have a minimal impact on the environment. My creations are colourful and uplifting, to appeal to adults and youngsters alike.
