Since discovering yoga in my late teens on a holiday in Portugal I was hooked. The magic of what yoga does, how it makes one feel more full and connected with oneself and the world, never ceases to amaze me. I simply love it! I believe we must create a better world and protect our beautiful earth. Yoga creates a connection between all and, over time, makes us care and love more deeply…. this is wonderful!

From learner to teacher

I have completed 2 yoga teacher trainings in India and Australia many moons ago and a couple of years ago added an additional 800 hrs training in yoga therapy, specialising in yoga with the aim of improving people’s health and wellbeing, working with specific, personal ( mental ) health issues.

Having tried and tested many different styles of yoga with some amazing teachers over the years, I have since come to create a fusion of what I feel is most enjoyable. With the use of music my classes are flowing and fun, can be gentle yet invigorating, energising and sometimes challenging, but accessible for most.

I like to invite intuitive movement and am very keen for peoples to listen deeply to themselves, their bodies and their emotions, to practice in a way that truly feels good rather than looks good. I incorporate breathing, affirmations and meditation and am always happy to offer modifications.

I have been part of the yoga class at Lealholm and we have been running for eight years, with Nadja as our teacher.

I personally find the way Nadja teaches us is excellent.She is constantly aware of all our needs but manages to make us feel individual.

I feel taller, refreshed and energised after our yoga session. I get a great deal of both physical and mental satisfaction from the way Nadja teaches us, but it’s also coupled with laughter and fun.
